No im arguing with you who is wrong...

or did you just start *YOUR* millenium celebrations 31/12/2000 coz 1st january 2000 wasn't actually the start of a new millenium!

Besides, does it REALLY matter, if chris wants to do a bloody countdown then he can! What are you the decade police?!

I couldnt really give a toss if im honest and i dont think anyone else does either. You've longed this out and its boring me.

And if we'e being pedantic about such trivial things, you dont do a comma and "and" next to each other. Its either one or the other.

kthnxby

Ok just to expand on the money thing. Im not giving 9 pounds for something thats 10, im giving 10.

If something was exactly £10 and I only had £9.99 I couldnt afford it, but if I had gone shopping with Jedward and borrowed 1p from John it would mean I have £10, which is all i need to buy my extra strong hair gel. What your saying is that I need to borrow another 1p from Edward to afford it, but then I would be over the £10 and paying too much!

So when the year moves from 2009 to 2010 thats the equivilant of the 1p completing my £10. A FULL tenner. So in conclusion, even Jedward think your being an idiot.

Not that it really matters anyway.

So 1990 wasnt in the 90s? And the year 2000 wasnt a new millenium?

I dont know if your just taking the piss! As far as the general population is concerned its the end of the decade! You can live in your own time if you want, thats fine with me. But everywhere you look now there are people talking about this being the end of the decade. I have an NME Best of the decade magazine next to me now, with two of the top 10 albums from the year 2000!

I have a load of countdowns from movie websites I have been reading and threads on every forum I visit! Once this year is complete so is the decade. FACT.

Well im going to go with the general population, as thats what the rest of the world is doing, I dont really care if its technically and mathamaticly wrong or not, it is the offical end of the decade and if its ok for everyone else, its ok for me!

Im safe in the knowledge that I have seen many different best album of the decade articles/threads these last weeks lol. Besides if 2000, 1990, 1980 etc were then im sure 2010 is too!

Of course I rate fringe that highly, if it was an all time list X Files and Friends would push it out of the top 10, but it could make it if it fufils the potential!
