The Hobbit Enters Production This Year

Peter Jackson Returns To The Shire
So The Hobbit is beginning it’s production schedule this coming June. That’s right ladies and gentlemen it will probably be only one more year before we can revisit The Shire. Well, at least the history of The Shire as The Hobbit took place before the events of the LOTR trilogy. Of course if you didn’t know that you deserve to run head first into a wall. As fast as you can. Still, 2011 for more fun filled hobbits and Gandalf.
Last month Peter Jackson was quoted to have said:
“We’re still working on the script, and of course it’s going to be directed by Guillermo del Toro. That’s going really well, and in fact we’ve already delivered the first script to the studio, and they really liked it, so now we’re working hard on the second script, and that’s going to keep us pretty busy until the end of this year [2009].”
