snow snow snow!
actually, there is no snow right now. its not even freezing. somewhat sad. i need to hit the slopes, in the same way cheech and chong need a hit on something else...
so i do have some good news. i'm going to be an automotive painter. not just like, touch up paint, but full on balls to the wall show quality $10-$15,000 paint jobs for a guy that claims to be in the top 200 automotive restorers in the country. he approached us (theres a new kid that works there, he's allright) and said "i could hire another painter, but i'd like one of you to do it." the other kid didnt want to. so i thought about it the rest of the day. at the end of the day, he asked me again. i said "yeah, i want to learn more first" and he told me that i was going to go to a 3 day school, and then he'd train with me for the first few paint jobs i did. i'm very, very excited. i didnt go to school to paint, but im looking forward to this, a lot. im going to take a lot of pride in it. too bad i have a full time job at a dealer, but that isnt completely bad, because they told me that they were thinking of having me go flat rate pretty soon. flat rate means that if i work a 10 hr day, but do 15 hrs worth of work (which i have been doing regularly) i get paid for 15 hrs instead of 10. which is great, hopefully it works out for me.
also, i think i've changed as a person. some certain things have happened in the past week, and i think there are some things that need to be done. i will update my friends list soon, so if you wish to say on it leave a message.
