Manual lawn aerator
I'm pissed off.
I spent half of the afternoon fighting with this piece of overpriced garbage I stupidly bought at a garden centre.
Maybe it's because we haven't had rain for a month. Or maybe it's because I just watered the lawn today. Maybe the user needs to be a 250 pound fat man.
Whatever the reason is, I could hardly get the damn thing in the ground, and once I did, it would clog up good and hard and it was near effing impossible to get the compacted clay back OUT of the holes!
If your lawn is compacted (the very reason you'd need it), don't buy this tool. I bought it thinking that instead of paying some company hundreds of dollars to aerate my lawn, I'd do it myself with a bit of muscle. And hey- doing it manually is pretty environmentally friendly no? Now, paying someone to do it seems pretty sweet.
