Since I like to steal things from Jayda:

Review Questionnairre for 2008

1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Moved to/started college, had my first real intense heartbreak, realized the true power of friendship.

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't know if I made any, so I doubt I kept them. And yes, I've made a few for this year.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My cousin gave birth to her second child, a boy named Spencer who makes my ovaries beg.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
A girl that went to my school, but no one I knew personally thankfully.

5. What countries did you visit?
I've still never been out of the US.

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Maybe some shame, a conscience, money would be nice too.

7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Ugh. June 29 for awful reasons, and probably all of July 4th weekend for some pretty fun/crazy ones.

8. What was your biggest achievement of this year?
Learning to rely on myself and not put my happiness in one person.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Wasting time and being dramatic over someone who doesn't deserve it.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing major.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Um, alcohol? Food? A two day raid on Victoria's Secret a few weeks ago?

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
I don't know, I think everyone has grown a lot, and I think that always merits celebration.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
Nobody's, really..

14. Where did most of your money go?
School, gas for my car, clothes toward the beginning of the year.

15. What did you get really, really excited about?
Prom, Graduation, my graduation party, going to college, all the wild parties I've had at college, and seeing my old gang over breaks.

16. What songs will always remind you of 2008?
Summer Girl by Jessica Andrews, Born Too Late or Better Off Without You by the Clarks, Wagon Wheel by Old Crow Medicine Show, and like Jayda said, Whatever You Like by TI

17. Compared to this time last year,
i. are you happier or sadder?
That's a hard one. I'd honestly have to say sadder, but I feel like I'm in a better place if that makes sense.
ii. thinner or fatter?
Slightly fatter? Maybe because my BOOBS GREW
iii. richer or poorer?
Probably richer, but not my much.
iv older or wiser?
Both.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Spent more time with friends before school had ended.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Like I said before, wasting time being dramatic over people who don't deserve it.

20. How will you be spending New Years Eve?
I spent it with some of my best friends downtown Harrisburg at the Hilton, watching the strawberry drop.

21. Did you fall in love in 2008?
As Kimmy said, I'm always in love.

22. How many one-night stands?
One? Two? Does an ex count as a one night stand if it's multiple nights?

23. What was your favourite TV programme?
One Tree Hill, Grey's Anatomy, House, Gossip Girl

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I dislike a few people.

25. What was the best book you read?
In 2008? Um, Why Beautiful People Have More Daughter, probably. Or Genome. I am such a nerd.

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
The Clarks and TI. Yeah I said it!

27. What did you want and get?
Self reliance, maturity, and basically everything I can ask for.

28. What did you want and not get?
Nothing that I still want, so it doesn't matter anymore =]

29. What was your favourite film of this year?
Ohh, good one. I Am Legend was good, though sad. Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Bourne Ultimatum were good.

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 19 and went to the Cheesecake Factory with Mary, Jayda, Meghan, and Veronika. It was nomalicious.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Not being dumped? Not being 45 minutes from my friends? Yeah probably.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
All over the place. I wore whatever I felt like wearing that day.

33. What kept you sane?
Friends. Jayda, Kimmy, and Kevin especially.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Um, good question. I don't know.

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
Gay Marriage, though I got in a few good heated debates over it all.

36. Who did you miss?
All of my friends while I was at school, and everyone at school while I was at home.

37. Who was the best new person you met?
Oh gosh, everyone! Kimmy and I got incredibly close this year, which was great and needed.

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008.
That I have to believe in myself and be able to rely on myself first and foremost.

39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
'Cause I'm having fun looking out for number one and doing all the things I like to.
I'm having fun 'cause I knew it all along that I'd be better off without you
Or, even better:
I'm the opposite of moderate, immaculately polished
With the spirit of a hustler and the swagger of a college kid
