Things are going decently lately, I'd say. School has leveled out, but something tells me it's the "calm before the storm" so I'm a little worried about that.
I was vaguely considering transferring, because I feel like I'm missing something here, but the other day I realized that Duquesne's pre-med program is thought of much more highly in the medical world than I had originally given it credit for, so I don't think I will. Also, I was talking to Kimmy, who is basically an older version of myself, and she said that it definitely gets better after freshman year, so I'm counting on that. PLUS I think I'm going to rush in the spring, mostly because I found a sorority that so far, I could really see myself in. One of the girls in it is an OT major, and she took down my number because right now in her anatomy class they're doing cadaver dissections and she said she could bring me in to check it out, which is BEYOND cool.
I don't even know what to say about the general Matt or Jonas situations, because there's a lot I could say about each but I don't even want to get into it. I'm happy at the moment, mostly, and that's what matters.
I'm also considering joining the Air Force ROTC, but I'm not entirely sure. I want to talk to someone over Thanksgiving break, and see how possible it would be for me to still do surgery in the Air Force. I don't know, we'll see.
