I read the news today, oh boy
So, I've been very preoccupied with real-life stuff for the last few weeks and have neither been able to play on Sundays nor have kept up on the posts here (just about the only reason that I've kept my LJ account going was to keep up with CoH). Did I miss anything?
Sorry, just a little gallows humor there. I'd abstractly wondered how much longer City would last, every now and then, whether there would be a CoH 2, etc., but this is hitting me a little harder than I'd expected. I created my account on February 27, 2005, which means that, aside from my current job (which I'm a couple of weeks shy of my 10th anniversary on), this is the longest that I've done anything,except being married, and that's almost ten years in the past, too.
I've got a lot more to say, but this isn't quite the time or the place, so I'll stop by saying that I hope to be back with the Pentacle crew this Sunday, and if I can't I'll definitely be back the following Sunday, and maybe sooner for special events, etc.
