Saturday Night TF's with JTL on Virtue are -finally- coming back!
OK, ladies and gents (and creatures and all mages). I know I've been 'lying low' for a long while as far as LJ itself goes, but the demand seems to be back on high, so here we go again. I'm going to try and get Just This Leauge (OR Evil LLC, depending) back into the habit of hosting a weekly TF / SF of some form. As usual, my work schedule makes the times I get to run things ... a bit 'odd', but such is life.
To kick things off, the first rule I'm going to follow is "What I plot and plan won't be the weekly strike target!". I may run that on Friday after work, but it won't be an organized matter - I'm going to try and throw some spice of life into the proceedings.
Secondly, unless someone asks me specifically to flip to something lower-end for a week, it will mostly be end-game TF's of various flavors, and I will be making a point of leading off with a 50. And yes, that does mean that people can say "Hey, you know, you should consider running a ______ next week", and I'll give it some thought.
Third ... unless there's -very- good reasons to do so, these are sharding / XP runs, with an emphasis on fun and furious combat over speed. This is not to say that occasional stealth will not happen, it just won't be normal.
So. To kick it all off, we're going with a personal favorite of mine, a TF that tends to be very rewarding, that lets everyone play, and that provides PLENTY to fight ... the Imperious Task Force.
Start time will be sliiightly after 11:30pm Eastern (slightly after 8:30pm Pacific, if I'm doing my math right). Estimated Run Time is somewhere between an hour and a half to two hours, since we will be aiming for a high body count to maximize on XP / Shards / Etc, although we won't be going out of our way to track down stragglers. Basically, if it stands between us and our goal, it dies - and this does mean we'll be fighting in the valley of lag. I will probably -be- Lag, so fear no evil. ^_^;;
Also, of special note : there will be voice comms by Skype open for this TF. You're definitely not required to use them, but if even half of the usual run-crew is involved in this, the voice comms tend to be silly and friendly. ^_^
