[The communicator drops to the ground, falling out of Dean's pocket as he tried to keep himself alive. It switches on as it hits the ground. His wounds are clearly visible... or most of them, anyway - his shirt on one side was covered in blood from having a spear stuck in him earlier. He had no visible bite marks, however, and his injuries don't seem to be hindering him too much. He's surrounded - he has two in front, three behind, and one either side. He'd managed to lure this group away from the tower, and none of them appeared to have spears left, at least. He was doing fairly well at keeping out the way, and there were two bodies that had knife wounds in fatal spots on the floor. One was still twitching.]

[But, even though his sharp reflexes were keeping him clear of talons/claws/tails/etc, it's deadly obvious that he's in very real danger of being overwhelmed. Dean manages to grab the scaly arm of one of the lizardwomen, and snaps it. They get revved up as she cries in pain, and their attacks double. He digs the knife in her back, severing her spinal column and killing her. He pulls it out, and manages to turn at the last minute, using her body as a shield against the tail that just came at him. Her body manages to take the force of the impact, and he manages to shift himself backward to avoid being cut too deeply. Her corpse joins the two others.]

[Dean, however, is so focused on the fight, he hasn't noticed the red blur headed his way.]
