the light....
For the past four-ish months I have been renovating my apartment. I felt that I had watched enough home-flipping shows that I could totally do it andcompletely gut the place. My 6 week timeline pretty much tripled, I reached the point in the reno where I wanted to cry because it was past the point of no return, I surprisingly came under budget (hurrah!) and I now know how to take out cabinets, take out/put in new light fixtures, rip out carpet, install laminate floor, and I know what thinset is and when to use it. Well, the reno is just about done. I don't have doors yet but I live alone so who needs a bathroom door!
This is my kitchen, I'm totally biased but I think it is the cutest galley kitchen EVER, the tiles haven't been grouted yet but you get the idea. Off to the left is a glimpse of the wallpaper in my dining room.
