I invented a tartan a while back, simply because I thought that my family should have one. Just about as cool is the Official Jewish Tartan. If I was going to own a talis, I'd probably want a tartan one just like the rabbi pictured is wearing. Good stuff.

Yes, I know, the My Network show "Wicked Wicked Games" is a cheesy night-time soap opera. But, I can't get the images of ugly women in pointy hats doing the 100-yard dash out of my head. I guess I just have sports on the brain all the time...

Normally, I don't get sucked in by viral "meme" constructs, but I thought this was interesting enough to give a try. People are putting together quizzes about themselves, to see who knows what obscure things about them. It got me a little too curious. Who knows the strangest things I could think up? I've always been dismayed that people of the name "Miller" are so diverse within Britannia (and, the rest of Europe, for that matter), that no one ever stepped up to claim "clan leadership" for it. Thus, Millers have gone without such cool things as a coat of arms or a tartan. Well, I've fixed part of that problem, by designing my own tartan:
