Drawing, and it feels so good

Some sketches from the past few days. I've really been trying to get out of my comfort zone and draw things other than anime teens, and I think it's been good for me.

Some Normans. Gosh darn it, this kid is adorable. I love his chunky eyebrows and spiky troll hair and big ears and uneven teeth and his little asymmetrical nose. Favorite scene is probably when he's in Prendergast's shack trying to get the book. He makes some of the best faces and the animation is absolutely delightful (I know there are some smears and good squash and stretch in there, but I have yet to really find them on freeze frame). <3

I drew a Tai with my right hand and then attempted to copy it with my left. It's funny how right-handed-Tai looks so hesitant and unsure of himself and left-handed-Tai is giving him sort of a bored and arrogant side-eye.

Some of my favorite monsters. I daresay they are... kawaii. UwU
(The hairy drooling man-baby on the bottom is from Gravity Falls. OMG you guys, such a good show. And the candy-stealing monster really is a cutie).

And finally, the tiniest of Taishiros. Can't stay out of the comfort zone for long!
