A while ago I came across “Haiga Illustrated Haiku Poems” on Amazon UK by Yukki Yaura and Suiyu Enomoto and bagged myself a good second-hand copy. I’ve only just had a chance to really have a proper look at it, and there are some lovely haiku.
I also really like the format of the book, haiku on one side, illustrated haiku on the other, it’s a nice size and you get the Japanese version of the poem in rōmaji.
It’s also broken into segments, Haiga; Preparations & Brushwork; Illustrated Classical Poems; Illustrated Contemporary Poems; Japan Suiboku Centre Students, so there should be something for everyone who likes Haiku
