Old birds like Orlovius are wonderfully easy to lead by the beak, because a combination of decency and sentimentality is exactly equal to being a fool. It is as pointless to mindlessly avoid trends as it is to mindlessly follow them. The point is not to let others have that much of an influence on (or dictate) your behavior.
