I followed a link to this knitted world post at Craft . in the recent posts I found this blog. She does felting with the fiber as opposed to knitting an object throwing it in the wash and hoping for the best.

So I was going to post a link to the main page of craft, but then I saw this project, who wouldn't want a brass knuckle ornament to deck the halls. I think we have felt left over, and fabric paint, well at least those tubes of acrylic paint for painting 'stuff'.
