-just home from karaoke at Suite. almost cried, realizing that I'm leaving this city, with all the folks I've met and come to know/love/appreciate. sang 'calling baton rouge' and 'bye bye', two of my all time faves. i swear, i'll need to find some karaoke up in new hampshire and, by sheer force of will, turn it gay.
-found out that loren is driving up to vermont on saturday morning, and am getting a ride. woo, carpooling!
-before karaoke, kate + ezra + I watched the DNC, waiting for Barack to appear. i've been nervous, in fact, using the word 'terrified', hearing about obama and mccain being neck-and-neck in some polls. now i'm home, drinking water and watching clips of the previous speeches before I tumble into bed. damn, Bill Clinton is a fucking amazing politician and speaker. what a damn speech. we better win this damn election.
