Adjusting her giant scroll one last time to ensure that it was set securely in place, the kunoichi tiredly stretched her arms over her head. With Lee assigned for an undefined time, there was little else the rest of their team could manage to do except take on their own individual missions. With her extensive knowledge of weaponry and ultimately her defensive skills, Tenten had been charged with a string of escort missions across the Fire Country, sometimes journeying into other shinobi nations.
Just coming back from guiding a small circus group that had been separated from the rest of their crew towards the borders of River Country, her strength and chakra reserves were utterly spent. Their focus had been on speed in order to catch up with the rest of the traveling circus, so she had pushed for a quick pace. The roving band of side shows did not seem to mind, seeming used to traveling at such a fast pace. But the weather had been less than cooperative, hindering their progress on several occasions. Coupled with a few run-ins with a few random thieves who thought they could take on a single kunoichi, and you had one drained weapon specialist.
But that was all over now. The mission was complete and she had managed to make it home to Konoha safely. Her report to the Hokage had been brief, much to her relief and Tenten found that after the long journey, she was starving. Quietly and wordlessly, the kunoichi stepped into the quaint little Ichiraku ramen restaurant that she would often hear Naruto ranting and raving about. The food was good, she'd agree, and the prices were well within her budget so there was no complaints.
There weren't many customers at this late hour, which was not a big surprise to Tehteh. A small part of her preferred it that way, liking the quiet of the evening. Smiling at the old man who ran the popular establishment, she took a seat at the counter as the gesture was returned and politely made her order. "One medium Miso Ramen please."
[Oh yeah, word of warning: I write a lot sometimes. Sorry ^^;]
