Nashville or bust

The past week has been hell to say the least. For those who do not believe in God I guess would be "bad luck", but I know the true meaning of this past week. Satan and his demons did not want me to move to Nashville.

On the home front it was a week of hell. Outside of that everything was pushing for the packing of the truck on Sat and move on Sunday. I had 10 guys scheduled to come over. 8 cancelled. I had 3 guys planning to go to Nashville with me and then my brother in law and nephew would meet us there. All 5 cancelled. The last cancellation was last Sunday at church. I was stressed.

Monday morning, I get a random message from a pastor in Nashville. He said "I was thinking about you and wanted to know if you needed anything?" What? Really? I told him everyone cancelled and I have no one to help me unpack the moving truck. He said he would get some guys to help.

The week came and I was overwhelmed. It was taking everything I had to pack up the house. Saturday came and I go the 20ft Uhaul. We got to the house and it was smaller than I imagined. I had a couple of guys come to help and was is my friend who was moving into our old house on Sunday. This was a blessing,

After spending half the day loading I realized our stuff was not going to all fit into the truck. I sat at the table and just went into his far away space of despair. What was I going to do? The guy moving in, Kevin, asked me what I was most worried about. I told him "what am I going to do with all my extra stuff? " he paused and said, "why don't we just store it in the garage here until you can come get it?" Weight of my shoulder. We packed the 20 foot truck from top to bottom.

Katrina, Kevin and I started to clean the house and we get a call from my mom that Colette is throwing up. Ugh,
So Katrina leaves. Kevin leaves shortly after and I clean till midnight. About 9pm Blake comes over to help thankfully.

Also Saturday night I find out that the pastor in Nashville could not find anyone to help and will be there alone. It will just be him and I. *sigh

Sunday morning I woke up after only 3 hours sleep and started praying and reading my Bible. I was stressing out and feeling sick. About an hour later 8:30am, I get a call from a friend at my church who asked if he could go with me and help move. What really? Why yes!

2 hours later we headed to Nashville. On the way, another friend said his buddy would meet us at the storage unit. Katrina drove the Uhaul, I had the van and my friend had his truck with stuff to go to the hotel.

The entire way I kept expecting the truck to break down. Luckily it went fine.

We go to Nashville at 4 and headed to hotel to drop off stuff and girls and then to storage unit where we were met by two people. Opened the 10x10 unit and we all looked at the unit and the truck and were all like "this will not work". We prayed and then started unloading the 20 ft truck. Frank was able to fit all 20ft of truck into that 10x10 unit. It is literally packed from top to bottom with no room to spare. It was a miracle.

Got to the new home and slept great last night.

The reason we are in Nashville is my job as Peter Furler's manager and Phil Joel's booking agent. I will be helping them spread the Gospel around the world in 2013. I cannot wait.

I am so ready for this new part of life and 2013 will be the best year.
