This wasn't happening. Except, it was. He just expected a free dinner and some sports conversation. He didn't hate Burt. He was okay. He made his mom happy. But, this wasn't how this was supposed to go down. It was too soon. He was happy without a step-brother to live with. He didn't need this

Not lonely enough to be desperate, but he was lonely. He'd been married for Christ sake. His wife had been his best friend, his lover, his confidant, his everything and suddenly he didn't have that, and was probably looking for it in all the wrong places. Well needless to say they'd parted ways with simple "well, I'll call you later then?" They never would. He knew that, and he was sure she knew that.
Great, now he was going to find a new place to get his morning coffee, as if his week hadn't been going bad enough. He sighed and swallowed down his fourth White Russian, or maybe it was his fifth. Either way, he's sucked them down fast, and he was only just now starting to feel it, though the buzz would be gone soon, it never lasted. You only got a few moments of forgetting about the world down the frosted crystal glass, though he was sure it wasn't real crystal. The bar tender noticed Will's empty glass taking it.
"You want another buddy?" Will seemed to think for a moment and shook his head.
"Just, get me whatever you have on tap thats good, and by good I mean not cheap." The bar tender nodded, coming back with a glass of a local pale ale. To be honest Will always did drinking backwards, he'd suck down the hard liquor and sip on the beer. But, that was just the way he did things.

Shifting in his seat, he brushed his leg against the person sitting next to him and he mumbled a, "Sorry," before turning to look at the guy.
Eyed wide, he slid the beer to his right almost into another guy's. So, he kept it to his right, sort of, offline.
"Oh - Mr. Schue...?" he said, looking away. He didn't say it. He wasn't seen. He wasn't here. And his teacher wasn't here.

He choked on his beer and looked to whomever had just spoken to him. Okay he wasn't that drunk, was he? Was Finn really sitting next to him, and what was that in his hand, alcohol?! He blinked. He had to be imagining it, he was drunk. That was the only logical explanation. He had to be, but he knew that just wasn't the case. So he opened his eyes once more and there he still sat and Will panicked.

"Funny...seeing you here," he said, smiling, the 'here' sort of disappearing into the ether.

"Can we get those fries on the patio?" The bar tender nodded and Will stood pointing at Finn and then motioning towards the patio. It was a warm night, but not too many people were outside, they could talk, in private.
"Don't forget your drink." He said dryly grabbing his own as he walked back towards the back of the bar and onto the patio, finding only one person outside smoking and most of the tables empty.

Pausing, he took a deep breath before stepping outside. He was comfortable in a t-shirt out there. Slowly but surely, he joined Mr. Schue at the edge, setting his drink down on the railing.

"What, the hell are you thinking?!" His voice was low, yet stern.

"Tell me, is it worth it." He had half a mind to knock the beer right from Finns hand, but that was perhaps the alcohol he'd already consumed talking.

"No," he finally added, hanging his head. "It's not worth it, Mr. Schue..." he grumbled, sighing.

"Not only could you not be welcomed back again to Club, but you can kiss your athletic privileges, maybe even school, good bye." At least he realized that what he was doing was foolish. "I can't believe throwing away all that even crossed your mind, what were you thinking!"

Now he was raising his voice and the one customer outside was going inside.
"We're not okay. You for your reasons and me for mine and you gotta' admit that, Mr. Schue!"
Blinking, he tried to fight back tears before collapsing forward into his teacher's arms.

He was glad that the other left. Because right now this was really a moment that required no one but themselves. At the mention of admitting that he wasn't okay Will sighed. He wasn't okay, that was true. Though the second Finn collapses into his arms he's taken aback, ignoring what the other said for now.
"This really bothers you, doesn't it?"
Reply
"I've never seen you this angry."
