Despite her long list of complaints it was something that wasn't really on Mia's mind at the moment. After living in the darkness of Circadia for so long she could feel the wind and sun on her face. It brought a smile to her face.

After a few minutes of allowing the wooden edge of the rail dig into his gut as he stared off to nowhere, the black haired man decided it was time to see what everyone else was doing. He wasn't the only one on this ship. Hopefully the break from the dark and cold cavern would set everyone in a good mood.
Zack finally turned away from the rail and scanned the people on the deck. There weren't many, but there seemed to be more people climbing up from the crew's cabin. One person in particular caught his eye; a short boy with blond spiky hair, and bright blue eyes. For only a moment, his breath hitched in his chest and he almost choked. His smile faded.
But the boy seemed to look right past him, observing the rest of the deck and the more Zack looked at him the better he felt. Of course it wasn't him, that was just ridiculous. The fleeting thought left a stain on his mood, but he quickly smiled again and headed towards the kid ( ... )

He steched, scrached his butt and went looking for his hat. He woke up when it wasnt an orange cowboy hat like he was expecting. Instead was a rust colored, tri-corner leather hat with silver masks in the form of comedy and tragedy on a red leather band.
"Christ. This isn't funny" He grumbled as he rolled up. He was wearing brown, knee length trousers and a few belts across his chest and over his hips. Instead of his sneakers he was wearing boots. "I'm gonna kill 'em" He mumbled as he dropped the tri-corner hat onto his head and pulled himself upright and began swaggering up the ladder to the deck above.
He was going to have a few words with his men about stealin' a guy's clothes and dressing him up funny. It was only hilarious when the victim was drunk. Doing this to a narcoleptic was just cheating.

"Whoah!Nice hat! " he said, almost calling it out to the person. Reflexively, he reached up and patted the top of his head before running his fingers through the messy spikes of hair spilling over the cloth tied around his forehead. Sounding disappointed, he said "I didn't get one. . ."
Observing his new acquaintance a bit further, it was evident that he wasn't the happiest of men. Despite that, he held out a hand towards the other and informed him, "my name's Zack!"

"Thanks, Zack. I'm Ace" He shook the SOLDIER's hand. He glanced around again. "By the way. Where the hell am I?" He asked, glancing up and not recongising the pirate insignia in the least.

"I dunno," he said and shrugged. "I don't think any of us do."
Obviously, they were on some ship in the middle of nowhere and Zack was sure that Ace didn't need him to spell that out.
"I don't think it matters that much anyway. We're just here for the ride," he said and smiled as he tilted his face up to the sun.

A sigh befallen from the Prince as he wandered out on to the deck of this massive ship with possibly the most ridiculous outfit ever worn in his life, for he never thought he could become some appreciative of Nabradian fashion until now! Rasler could not believe the sheer tackiness of this horrid velveteen swashbuckler jacket and the flimsy slacks and blouse he wore under it. In addition, let us not mention the uncomfortable dark brown boots he wore now that looked as if they lived a reckless and dangerous life before becoming the boots he don now! He looked like a pirate for God’s sake! He, the heir to the throne of Nabudis, looked exactly like one of the vermin pirates from Balfonheim Port! Rasler was nearly thankful that none of his comrades or his dear wife could see him in such horrid clothing right now! He surely would have had a tough time living down their shocked gases as well as their laughter ( ... )

As if thinking about the words the new man spoke, he looked down at himself. He pulled at his shirt a little bit, and made a pleased face. The clothes were comfortable, especially the baggy shirt. He liked the light fabric and how it blew in the wind.
"But I like them!" Zack said and turned his bright-blue eyes to gaze back at Rasler, a small look of awe on his face. How could someone be so displeased? Everyone else seemed to be relaxing and having fun - that's what Zack had been doing previously.
"I dunno, does gold really matter?" He looked around the deck for a moment, and then put his hand to his brow to shield the sun from his eyes as he gazed out to sea. "I don't see a captain, or any land, so if you wanna look for some gold. . . good luck with that!"

"Well, that sounds like fun, bu~t as you can see there isn't much to do while we're in the middle of nowhere," Zack said, smiling again as he turned away from the rail and letting his arm drop back down to his side.
"I've never heard of a sky pirate before." A look of interest crossed his face. He knew people from Circadia came from all sorts of different places and worlds, and he liked so hear about them so he asked, "where do you come from? What kind of world is it?"
