For a few minutes, Roxas remained still, staring up at the ceiling and swaying in the hammock. If it weren't for the utter confusion, he might have felt relaxed enough to fall right back to sleep.
Instead, he rose to his feet and glanced about his surroundings. It was different from the apartment he'd woken up in previous mornings. He noticed that his clothing was gone and replaced with a much different attire. Regardless, he slipped everything on without question, and found he needed to tie a thin rope around his waist to keep the charcoal-colored shorts from falling down in a heap around his ankles.
When he looked at himself in the mirror, he fingered the large, white and bright-blue striped shirt, and could only wonder why they couldn't even get his measurements right if they were going to just take away all of his clothing anyway. But he didn't really have a choice, unless he wanted to walk around in his boxers, which didn't sound very appealing.
Roxas tugged the boots on before climbing up to the deck of the ship. A hand reached up to his face, and his fingers brushed across the patch over his eye. They were really taking this pirate-thing seriously, weren't they? They were even... on an ocean?
Blue eyes scanned about the new environment and he walked over to the side of the large ship. Before he'd gone to bed, he could have sworn this was a city; but the paper kept speaking of rain. Hell, he'd nearly been driven out of his apartment because of it!
And the fresh air was most certainly welcome.

Despite her long list of complaints it was something that wasn't really on Mia's mind at the moment. After living in the darkness of Circadia for so long she could feel the wind and sun on her face. It brought a smile to her face.

After a few minutes of allowing the wooden edge of the rail dig into his gut as he stared off to nowhere, the black haired man decided it was time to see what everyone else was doing. He wasn't the only one on this ship. Hopefully the break from the dark and cold cavern would set everyone in a good mood.
Zack finally turned away from the rail and scanned the people on the deck. There weren't many, but there seemed to be more people climbing up from the crew's cabin. One person in particular caught his eye; a short boy with blond spiky hair, and bright blue eyes. For only a moment, his breath hitched in his chest and he almost choked. His smile faded.
But the boy seemed to look right past him, observing the rest of the deck and the more Zack looked at him the better he felt. Of course it wasn't him, that was just ridiculous. The fleeting thought left a stain on his mood, but he quickly smiled again and headed towards the kid.
There wasn't any way that Roxas have been able to get away with existing without Zack introducing himself at the very least. Not with the way he looked a bit too much like a certain old friend. And while he was at it, he might as well make friends with the (obviously uncomfortable) woman standing in the same general area.
"Hi," the dark-haired one said loudly and cheerfully, waving a hand at the two with a smile plastered across his face. "I'm Zack!"

A man stood before him, smiling and waving, and Roxas couldn't help but return it with his own amused half-smile.
"I'm Roxas," he replied easily (even if he felt awkward in this clothing, but Zack seemed to be in the same boat - literally). He took a moment to give the dark-haired stranger a look-over; he reminded Roxas vaguely of his friend Axel, save for the different hair color, clothing, and Zack was probably shorter than the redhead.
He looked over at the other person lurking nearby: a woman in tight clothing was leaning against the railing. Might as well learn her name too, he figured. Roxas was still trying to figure out why he was here, but he knew that it only ever happened when Sora slept. He definitely preferred this to spending his time alone, in the Station of Serenity.
At least here, he didn't feel so lonely. There were other people here.
Granted, he didn't know how they'd all ended up here, but when it came down to it, he couldn't care less.

After a minute or so she tossed her long hair over her shoulder and took a step forward, "I'm Mia Fey. Do either of you know who the captain is? I'd like to get to work." The truth was at the moment she really would rather spend time on the deck watching the sea sparkle with the wind in her hair.

The black-haired man turned towards Mia, staring for a moment as he let her words process through his brain. He made a face as something clicked in his head, and quickly reached back to pull a newspaper out from where he'd stashed it in his sash belt.
". . . It says they don't know if there's a captain," he said, and pointed to the section in which he read that. He turned his gaze over to what he thought to be the captain's quarters. "It says the door's locked, but there's no harm in trying, right?"

Was he supposed to be working in this place? Roxas hadn't a clue, as it seemed he was fresh meat in this place. It'd only been two nights - days? - in which he'd found himself in this unfamiliar place, and the first time, he'd remained locked away in his room, either lying in his bed or walking around as he tried to figure out what he was doing there.
He turned his attention back to Zack when he pulled out a newspaper, and moved closer to the older boy to get a better look at what he was reading. What kind of ship didn't have a captain? Roxas looked perplexed, and his gaze followed Zack's to the door not-too far away.
"You any good at breaking down doors?"
