I received a secondary application to the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Medicine. This made me excited because of this question posted on the FAQ at their website:
Do you send supplemental applications to everyone?
No, since there is a fee associated with the supplemental application, we send it only to applicants we are seriously considering for admission.
So I begin filling out the application and come to the part where it says you must have a baccalaureate degree to be considered for admission. Damn! Then I call the admissions office just to be sure and the rep. tells me there are no exceptions to this rule.
I guess I should still be happy that I received some form of consideration. If I don't get accepted elsewhere this time around, I can always re-apply after I receive my B.S..
