[He jostles the book for a few moments before it steadies. He's barely standing, panting and blood-flecked in places with a dark bruise starting to form over the right side of his face, just beneath the eye. He still has the torn remains of a few leaves scattered through hair that's been pulled free of its usual topknot, he's lost his hat somewhere, and his mouth is smeared with blood.
Still, he's grinning stupidly from ear to ear, eyes dancing wickedly.
His tongue flicks out across his lower lip before he smears an arm roughly across his face, smudging the wet red down his chin. Thrashed but still beaming he finally speaks, breathless, rushed.]
First blood is mine! Heh...!
[His wings flex as he punches the air with a whooping exulted cry of victory. Behind him, what's visible of the once pristine forest they were fighting in has been ripped apart, vines still writhing along the ground. There's fires blazing in places.]
Bet they'll get pissed 'bout what we did to their arena... whoops.
[His and Kurama's fight got a little dirty, from the look of it. He's still laughing giddily under his breath and picking bits of plant matter out of his hair when the feed cuts.]
