Me, me, me!

Dec 01, 2006 22:07

Stole this from Kei.  It’s meme time!

1. How old will you be in five years?
31.  Holy schnitz!  Gema and I better be married by then!

2. Who did you spend at least two hours with today?
My lovely co-worker.

3. How tall are you?
5’4” (or about 163 cm).

4. What do you look forward to most in the next six weeks?
Nothing in particular.  It’s always just the weekend.  But on a daily basis, I look forward to food.  ^o^

5. What's the last movie you saw?
Anastasia.  It was an anniversary gift from Gema.  It’s my favorite animated American movie.  I love John Cusack’s voice acting in it.

6. Who was the last person you called?
An ex-graduate to invite them to our school’s xmas party.  Bugger didn’t pick up; had to leave a message.  You’d think after leaving the same message with 20 other students, I’d become more comfy w/ it, but no.  -_-;

7. Who was the last person to call you?
A student looking for my co-worker.

8. What was the last text message you received?
Prolly something from Linlin regarding cheesecake.

9. Who was the last person to leave you a voicemail?
Prolly Monk or Douggie.  I hate checking voicemail, so I dunno.

10. Do you prefer to call or text?
Email, does that count?  If not, than calling, cuz I don’t text.

11. What were you doing at 12am last night?
Chatting w/ Gema about bra sizes.  How 80 cm is a size 36, 75 cm is a size 34, etc.  This was because of One Piece, I swear!

12. Are your parents married/separated/divorced?
Married.  =)

13. When is the last time you saw your mom?
The Saturday after Thanksgiving.  She cooked a big feast for all of us.

14. What color are your eyes?
Same shade as my hair.

15. What time did you wake up today?
A few minutes before 8 am.

16. What are you wearing right now?
White cami under a blue fleece pullover on top, grey tights under blue jeans on bottom.  Silver watch on my wrist, white ankle socks, and black and tan bowling style shoes.  (Yah, I’m layered cuz it’s cold).

17. What is your favorite Christmas song?
O Holy Night!  Especially the version sung by Josh Groban.

18. Where is your favorite place to be?
Anywhere when I’m w/ good company and good food.  This tends to be in restaurants, lol.

19. Where is your least favorite place to be?
In a hot car, circling the parking lot a dozen times looking for a spot.  I #$%^ing hate that.

20. Where would you go if you could go anywhere?
Japan, hands down.  But it has to be w/ my buddies, or it wouldn’t be any fun.

21. Where do you think you'll be in 10 years?
Married to Gema in our own home that we bought w/ our own money.  Bebop will still be around, and there might be a kid or two by then.

22. Do you tan or burn?
Tan.  Unless I’m wearing water proof sun block.  Then I become the Itchy Woman, and It’s.  Not.  Pretty.

23. What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child?
A vindictive female ghost who would hang anyone who sat on the toilet (no, I’m not kidding, there was a hook for the noose there and everything).  This of course, used to make me dread going pee at night, and I used to whip aside the shower curtain and make sure no one was there because I was so paranoid.

24. What was the last thing that really made you laugh?
Man dirt.  Only Remy will understand this though…

25. How many TVs do you have in your house?
One, and it’s all we really need, seeing that we live in freaking studio and there are no other rooms.  >.<

26. How big is your bed?
It’s a queen, but it’s still not big enough.  If I can do a spread eagle and still touch Gema, it’s too small.

27. Do you have a laptop or desktop computer?
Desktop compy.  I used to want a laptop to make it easier to write my fics, but that never really worked out.  I’m trying to save more of my money now, anyways.

28. Do you sleep with or without clothes on?
On.  Though sometimes, my socks magically get toed off through the night.

29. What color are your sheets?
Blue sateen.  800 thread count, baby!

30. How many pillows do you sleep with?
One.  I’m not fussy.

31. What is your favorite season?
Fall.

32. What do you like about fall?
I love how temperate the climate is around that time.  Not too hot or cold, and day light savings time kicks in, so we get that extra hour too.  Score!

33. What do you like about winter?
All the food that you get to eat.  Winter makes me the hungriest out of all the seasons.  We tend to do more hot pots around this time, so that’s a big plus.

34. What do you like about the summer?
All the yummy fruit that is in season, like pineapples and mangos.  =9

35. What do you like about spring?
The moderate temperature.

36. How many states/provinces have you lived in?
States?  Just California.

37. What cities/towns have you lived in?
Before Fontucky, I believe we resided in Chino.  After that, it was Riverside for college and LA for work.

38. Do you prefer shoes, socks, or bare feet?
Bare feet.  Or my ghetto blue slippers.  I really love those slippers, even though everyone else thinks they’re tacky.  Which they are.  *lol*

39. Are you a social person?
According to my buddies, that’s a yes.  But that may be because they tend to be more recluse than I am, so in contrast, I seem social.  Or it might be because I really am.  Who knows?

40. What was the last thing you ate?
I’m eating a giant slab of Ghirardelli choco right now, actually.  Like, an inch thick 5x5 chunk that my colleague bought just for me.  ^o^  Before that, a banana.  And before that, a can of soup, six mini donuts, and an apple.  Like I said, winter makes me hungry.

41. What is your favorite restaurant?
It tends to change, but currently, it’s IHOP.  I don’t even like American food that much, but their Stuffed French Toast is addictive.

42. What is your favorite ice cream?
Really rich dark choco.  Dr. Bob’s is especially good, even though it’s pricy and exclusive as all heck.  You can only get it online or at specialty stores.

43. What is your favorite dessert?
Anything that’s a rich choco is good w/ me.

44. What is your favorite kind of soup?
I consume anywhere to 3-5 cans of Progresso Chicken Noodle Soup a week.  So it’s prolly chicken soup, lol.  I would’ve said ramen or wonton soup, but there are so many ways that those dishes can go wrong.  Here’s a note, if you see the cook nuking the wontons that will go into your soup, run far, far away.  I swear to god.  *crosses heart and shivers*

45. What kind of jelly do you like on your PB & J sandwich?
Grape!

46. Do you like Chinese food?
Heck yah, I like Chinese food!

47. Do you like coffee?
Bleh.  Only when it doesn’t taste like coffee anymore.  Yanno, loaded w/ sugar, cream, and flavored syrup.

48. How many glasses of water, a day, do you drink on average?
If I’m at work, anywhere from 2-6.  At home, typically 1-2.

49. What do you drink in the morning?
Water.  I chug down a glass right before I head out the door.  It’s a ritual.

50. What non-banking related card in your wallet is the most valuable to you?
My driver’s license?  If that doesn’t count, than prolly my CPR card, though it’s not exactly valuable to me per se.  My movie membership cards are worth more to me, lol.

51. Do you sleep on a certain side of the bed?
Yah.  The side closest to the wall.

52. Do you know how to play poker?
Yah, though I suck horribly at it.  No poker face to speak of.  I am way too straight forward.

53. Do you like to cuddle?
Yup, yup.  Usually, w/ my blankie, because it soft and squishy and doesn’t complain or get grumpy.

54. Have you ever been to Canada?
Nope.  It’s cold up there, so I wouldn’t really care to, either.

55. Do you have an addictive personality?
Well, everyone reading this blog could prolly vouch for that, no?  ^o^

56. Do you eat out or at home more often?
It’s 50-50.  We try to eat in, but my cooking sucks and Gema doesn’t cook very often.

57. What do you miss about high school, if anything?
Nothing.  Overall, high school sucked.  I couldn’t wait to get to college.

58. Do you know anyone with the same birthday as you?
The same month and day, but not the same year.  It was an ex-coworker of mine.  Really fun guy.  Gay of course, like 70% of the ppl in that company, lol.  He’s prolly in the acting business now.

59. Do you want kids?
Only if I don’t have to give birth to them.  My periods suck hard enough.  Just imagining pregnancy makes my ovaries shrivel in horror.

60. Do you speak any other languages?
Yup.  Not well though.

61. Have you ever gotten stitches?
Nope.  Thank goodness.

62. Have you ever ridden in an ambulance?
I could have, but I wanted to save myself the 900 bucks.  This was back in college, when a car bonked into my bike and landed me on my arm.  Happened the very day of my O-chem midterm.  Ouch.

63. Do you prefer an ocean or a pool?
Pool.  The ocean is a big toilet.  (Sorry if that offends anybody).

64. Do you prefer a window seat or an aisle seat?
Window, although lately I’ve noticed that window seats rob you of leg space.  =(

65. Do you know how to drive stick?
I’m lucky that I know how to drive, period.

66. What is your favorite thing to spend money on?
Books and food, my two favorite pursuits in life.

67. Do you wear any jewelry 24/7?
The closest thing to jewelry I wear is my silver dress watch, but it’s not 24/7.

68. What is your favorite TV show?
24.  Mmm, Jack Bauer…  Saving the world, one hour at a time.  =)

69. Can you roll your tongue?
Yup!  I can tie multiple knots on a cherry stem too.  We’re talking talent, kids.  Talent.  ;)

70. Who is the funniest person you know?
Lord Pimpin’ Ger, hands down.

71. Do you sleep with stuffed animals?
Does Gema count?  Then no.  They sleep around me though.

72. What is the main ring tone on your phone?
It’s usually on silent, which is the reason why I never pick up - I never hear it.  If it’s not on silent, then it’s on a cat meowing.  Why?  Cuz the other ring tones on my phone suck, and I’m too cheap to pay for a decent one, lol.

73. Do you still have clothes from when you were little?
Um, why?  Unless it’s at mom’s and dad’s place, then no.

74. What red object is closest to you right now?
An apple.  Kekeke.  Hopefully it’s not rotten this time around.  Even though I’d still eat it…

75. Do you turn off the water while you brush your teeth?
Yes.  It bothers me when I see ppl waste water like that, so if you do, either change your ways or don’t let me catch you!

76. Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?
Well, it’s a gimp door.  It only closes so much.  But we close it as much as we can.

77. Would you rather be attacked by a big bear or a swarm of bees?
Prolly bees.  Bears could kill, but since I don’t think I’m allergic to bees, I’d go w/ them.  But of course, I’d rather not be attacked, period.

78. Do you flirt a lot?
Hahahahahaha.  *coff*  What’s that?

79. What do you dip a chicken nugget in?
I actually like them plain.  Good chicken nuggets don’t need any condiments.  Sometimes honey is nice though.  Mmm, honey…

80. What is your favorite food?
I freaking love noodles.  If you delve into the psychology behind that, it’s prolly cuz I was raised on rice, so noodles is something I consider a treat.  Even though I eat it so often it’s not really a treat anymore, it’s still my favorite.

81. Can you change the oil on a car?
Again, I’m lucky that I even know how to drive.

82. Have you ever gotten a speeding ticket?
Nopes!  Haven’t driven enough to warrant one.

83. Have you ever run out of gas?
No again.

84. What is your usual bedtime?
11:00, though I try to push it back as late as I can, much to Gema’s grumpy dismay.

85. What was the last book you read?
Key of Light, by Nora Roberts.  It’s the first in a trilogy.  I haven’t read her stuff in years, so it’s sort of a trip down memory lane re-immersing myself in her writing style.  Lately, I’ve been digging suspense thrillers like those written by Harlan Coben.

86. Do you read the newspaper?
On the net.  Does that count?

87. Do you have any magazine subscriptions?
I used to be quite the subscription whore, but I kicked the habit after college.

89. Do you watch soap operas?
Man, I hardly have time to watch Conan, let alone watch cheesy melodrama like soaps.

90. Do you dance in the car?
Actually, I do!  I also dance when I’m playing ping pong, tennis, or cooking.  And it’s not good dancing, it’s the silly ‘What the hell is she doing?’ dancing.

91. What radio station did you last listen to?
KBIG 104.3, I guess.  I only listen when I’m in a car.

92. Who is in the picture frame closest to you?
Our old pet hammy.  It’s a black and white 11x14 photo of the hammy peeking over the edge of a tic tac toe board.  Quite spiffy.  =D

93. What was the last note you scribbled on a piece of paper?
On a sticky: “13 comprehensive exams and answer sheets.  Please have the students use the answer sheets, it’s easier to grade them this way.  Thanks!”

94. What is your favorite candle scent?
Dunno, but it’s not vanilla.  I’m more of an incense gal, and I like my scents cool and herbally.

95. What is your favorite board game?
Cranium!  That or Scrabble, but it’s hard to find a willing opponent.

97. When was the last time you attended church?
Back in college.  We used to attend a really gigantic church called Harvest.  The preacher was so popular, he would have his sermons taped and broadcasted on the web.  I even saw him on tv one time.

98. Who was your favorite teacher in high school?
Prolly either Bedard or Padilla, the History and English teachers, respectively.  Bedard was just cool and interesting.  He really loved history, and his reading voice was awesome.  Padilla because I admired her.  If we were closer in age, I would’ve liked to be her friend.  I always wished that she’d get married.  I hope she has.

99. What is the longest you have ever camped out in a tent?
Never.  I wanna go camping!

100. Who was the last person to do something extra special for you?
My colleague who brought me choco.  I was belly-aching yesterday about how much I needed it, and she brought it esp. for me.  It’s nice being loved.  ^o^
