Dilemma: Getting Rid of Unwanteds

I had a realization today that although I had survived through a traumatic, tragic event, I wasn't anywhere near the end of my mourning process. An then I had the morbid thought that maybe it would be best if families just passed away together like in car accidents. Nobody mourns their family member's death that way. Mourning. It's a sick cycle that seems to get passed from generation to generation like some pointless heiloom that is no use to anyone and eventually gets through into storage. Storing it, however, can be pricey. It's hard trying to find places to house it. Mourning takes up too much room. But it's not something you can seem to throw away. Then there is the dilemma of what we can do with it. I guess I could cover it with a blanket. Then it'd just be sitting there with a blanket over it. I could try to give it away. But it's not something anyone else really wants to take either. Most people don't even want to hear that you have it. So I guess I have to carry it around until I can find a place to set it down.
