(no subject)
Today turned out to be a good day. I found out that I have more time for a paper I have to write (which I should be doing now). I also was offered a position as an R.A. Even better, I get to live in the apts on campus, which is just icing on the cake. My friend Tom is suppose to be helping me move into my new place, since he's going to be on campus for basketball. (I hope he wasn't lying). I found out who I'm living with for the Spring and they're nothing but awesome. I really wanted to live in the dorms, however, because I could have spent more time with my friend Suzanne. My 6pm was cancelled today. I can go to the gym around 8pm instead of later.
For all this good luck, there is only one thing I can do: Thank God by going to IKEA!! I'm planning on decorating the apt, since the living room isn't decorated.
I'm a little scared about having such a large responsibility, but ResLife wouldn't hire me if I couldn't do it! I just hope I'm not too mean to my residents. I really felt special since my suitemates all told me that they were going to miss me (and I'm going to miss them terribly). This is a better situation for me though--I'll have an opportunity to grow into a better, more effective leader.
Tomorrow's agenda: moving out and basketball game.
