Aww, Patrick Swayze...now I am depressed.
Cancer is just such a horrible way to go. I'm sure pretty much everyone has their own story with cancer, but mine is that I watched my grandfather die of a brain tumor when I was little, and it was just horrific what it did to him. It was worse, with the brain tumor, because my grandpa just completely lost himself...he couldn't remember the people around him, and by the end he had lost his ability to speak...he couldn't even communicate what he was feeling.
Knowing that was one of the reasons I felt so sad about Ted Kennedy...besides the fact that he was so important to our country and to the Democratic Party, such an asset.
CNN is just a bummer tonight.
Oh, and that poor girl at Yale! That story is just...horrific.
Man. What a sad world.
Now I guess I'll go finish reading a depressing play about abandoned dreams. ...Yippee.
