curves are the enemy

Maybe I'm an idealist, but I think that grade curves are unnecessary. All they do is tell you how you did comparatively. What happened to how you did? An A gains more value, sure, but how fair is it to give a B to someone who did A level work but had a 94.9 average instead of a 95.1?

Fuck curves. Fuck grades. I wish they didn't affect my future so much.
