A Good Week
Why, may you ask?
#1: Quit the temp job that I hated (last day is tomorrow!). They wanted me to go until the middle of September, and then they'd just keep extending my contract like they've done to the poor other temp who's been there three years. They were also paying me $10.50 an hour to do the exact same work that the full-time people are getting salaries and benefits for doing...and I was driving 50-plus miles round trip every day in a car with no functioning air conditioner for the privilege of doing so. Um, no.
