Though Mom's birthday isn't until next weekend, we celebrated it early because of Sue's work/vacation schedule. It worked out great.

Sue could only stay for a few hours, but her animation and vibrancy made it a memorable time. She is such a great storyteller! It's been too long between visits.

On Saturday, I drove out to see Mom. There was some (about 20-30 minutes) holdup on Highway 37 because of the massive NASCAR races, but I certainly missed the worst of it.

Had a busy three days at Mom's. We got a bunch done, and managed to enjoy the visit to boot. ;-)
