Saturday the high temperature here was 74 degrees. What a tease that Mother Nature is in Colorado. Sunday it snowed.
The weekend was fairly uneventful, except for getting together with a friend on Friday night for drinks. I had probably too many gin and tonics, as the next day I felt a little strange and tired.
Saturday night we grilled wonderful rib-eye steaks, purchased from this little butcher shop in our neighborhood (Wheat Ridge Poultry and Meats). I think they've been in business since the 1940s. They even gave me a free doggie deer bone for Guy. The mate said they were the best rib-eyes he's had in his entire life. He did an excellent job with the grilling part, they were perfect. I'm definitely married to a carnivore.
Sunday night I watched "Breaking Bad" on AMC. I am completely hooked on this show, and "Mad Men" also on AMC. It's about (if you don't know) a high school chemistry teacher (Walter White) who finds out he has stage 3 lung cancer, and in order to leave money for his family after he is gone, he turns to crime (cooking and selling Crystal Meth) with a former student (Jesse Pinkman).
