Drabble: Teamwork (Luke and Lucinda)
Another drabble for joy! We are extending the joy, here, because I obviously did not get all of them done yesterday. :-) These are going to be out of order, as well.

Notes: One of the options dreamer_98 gave me was to write something with Luke and his family. I chose one of my favorite members of Luke's family, Lucinda. I hope that works for you! This takes place some time post-series.
They've always had a special connection, so it doesn't surprise Luke when his transplant fails and her cancer returns at the same time.
"We have to stop meeting like this, darling," Lucinda says, waltzing into the dialysis room, silk scarf tied around her head, nurses trailing behind. "I told them to set up my chemo in here."
He grins. "Of course you did."
"I heard Damian was a match," she says, after a moment.
"I heard your scan came back clean."
He takes her hand, and she smiles. He never doubted they'd be okay. They've always made a great team.
