dont be jealous, get cool friends
On monday Danton asks me what I am doing on friday. I say nothing. He says, you have plans with me. I say, what are we doing. He says cant tell ya. I ask, who are we doing said thing with. He says, cant tell ya. So therefore I am basically agreeing and letting him kidnap me. How Fabulous. So I get to his house promptly at 5:33 on friday night and he, Mike, and Dayna are there and pulling in behind me came Jaime. HMMM Danton, Brittni, Dayna, Mike, and Jaime. These are the most awesome members of the famous Harry Potter Club, could this be HP related. No one knew. So we jump in Jaime's car and each hand over 5 bucks for gas and we are on our way. So everyone in the car is guessing and guessing and still Danton will not let up on where we are going. He's a tough cookie to crack. All we know is that we are heading south on 95. Now for those of you that are uninformed. 95 is a highway that goes from Maine to Florida on the east coast. This means that there are various locations from New Jersey to Florida that we could be going to. So we drive through Delaware. Then pass Baltimore Maryland. Then lots of nothing. Then finally 3 hours later get off at Washington DC, the nation's capitol. I was super excited. Even though I live so close I have never been there once. It was fantastic.
We park near in front of the Washington Monument. Quick and Fun photo shoot. Then walk towards the World War II Memorial, which was freaking beautiful. Then we made our way pass the Reflecting Pool to be accompanied with the cloud of nats, oh how tasty(EW!). Then it was off to the Lincoln Memorial. Then eats at a fan-freaking-tastic restaurant Old Ebbit Grill. Walk pass the House of White and then the trip home. All in all we didnt get to see everything which is fine with me. It only gives me a reason to take another random trip back. And I adventually will because this trip was awesome. I cant believe I have never been before.
So that was friday... This is saturday.. yesturday...
The plans were to see Citizen Cope in concert at Wiggins Park but because of the rain it was canceled. This completely sucked because my friends from LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK. Had driven down here to see them. Now what do we do? Well go to South Street Philadelphia of course!! It was great fun and a total riot. I forgot how much I missed all of them. I had a lot of fun showing them around Philly and they got a total kick out of Condom Kingdom (They want them in NYC now, haha). I drove by the William Penn building and we walked around Penns Landing a bit. OH!!! AND I took them to Wawa for the very first time. Yup it was love at first sight. Oh Wawa, you must move to NY for all of our sanity. I had a wonderful time even though the plans got changed. Cant wait for next semester.
