scavenger hunt
SO! I call Danton at about 4:30 and ask him what he is doing tonight. He says work but then asks "What are you doing around 10?" I say nothing he says ok, we are doing something and then we part ways. Promptly at 10 of 10 he calls and says come to my house. I get there, say high to his mom and then he says ok now we are leaving. I have no idea where. Some how we end up at Ashley's house and then to Colonial Diner where he tells us we are having a scavenger hunt. Oh good stuff. So we are writing up ideas and the people siting behind us are like, We'll compete against you, we are like sure... WHY NOT!! So we come up with a list and away we went.
First Stop: ACME SUPERMARKET
*Mission: Picture with doughboy, Get an employee name tag, Sing and Dance to song playing on overhead
So we walk in and go right for the doughboy because that would be the easiest. I find an employee to take our picture and he's like. No pictures in the store. I begin to converse with him and ask why no pictures. He begins to escort us out of the store. Ass.
Second Stop: ASHLEY'S HOUSE
*Mission: Picture of awesome scar, Picture with doughboy.
Ashley runs to the kitchen finds the pillsbury doughboy on a brownie box, SCORE!!! Danton finds pictures of Geoff's scars from their road trip last summer, SCORE!! Mission Accomplished
Third Stop: FOX RUN ROAD
*Mission: Picture of address with 3 of same number (ex: 111, 222, 333, etc.)
Danton thought there was a 777 on Fox Run.. turns out it was a 771. Oh well.
Fourth Stop: RED LIGHT, FOX RUN/BANKBRIDGE??
*Mission: Chinese Firedrill #1 (of 4)
Run, Run, Run... Mission Accomplished
Fifth Stop: BOB'S HOUSE
*Mission: Get a Bob or a Matt to sign your arm
Danton calls Bob he comes out, He signs Ashley's arm. Mission Accomplished

We walk in and immediately go for the name tag. Apperently they dont give out free name tag. Whodda Thunk It!! So we ask for a picture and the guy is a little uneasy about it so I ask if there is anyone else who would want to do it. The guys says there is a girl that is packing the freezer that might want to do it. Danton walks up to the milk, opens the door, says "Hello?" HUGE guy comes out, named Rick!, and we ask him and he says sure. Guy was completely scary so we leave... Mission Accomplished
Eighth Stop: WAWA FOOD MARKET.... a different one
*Mission: Name Tag, Sing the Song
We walk in and I see my uncle. HAHAHAHA. He's like what the hell are you doing here? I tell him and let him look at the list and he says he will give us an article of clothing. He goes in his car and gives us his sweater. SCORE! Not the particular mission but still... Mission Accomplished
Ninth Stop: WALLGREENS
*Mission: Name Tag, Walk up to someone and give them a Red Bull. Say nothing but "Red Bull gives you wings" and walk away.
So we go into the Wallgreens and buy a Red Bull. The girl at the counter wont give us a name tag but she will let me try on hers... Kinda Mission Accomplished. So we walk out into the parking lot and there is a girl waiting for someone sitting in a car with the window down. Danton walks up, gives her the Red Bull, says "Red Bull gives you wings" I snap the picture and he walks away. The girl is freaked out. Shes like, "Is this going to explode on me!!!" I say "Thank you." Ashley says "We just bought it." We get in the car and drive away... Mission Accomplished
Tenth Stop: SOMEONE'S HOUSE

Eleventh Stop: SOME DEVELOPMENT
*Mission: Thumbs up with a Garden Gnomb
We must have looked everywhere for a freaking gnomb and could not find one. Are they extinct??!?!
Twelth Stop: TRAVEL AGENCY
*Mission: Thumbs up with a Garden Gnomb
So if you know the travel agency I am talking about you know why we tried there for a garden gnomb, just so you know they DO NOT have one... just our luck. So I pull into the drive way and Danton is like "Well if we cant find a gnomb this lawn has to be good enough for something!!" So I snap a picture and we jump in and go on our way. As we turn into Oak Valley to look for more garden gnombs a police officer pulls us over. I was not speeding nor doing anything illegal. AND I used the proper hand signal for turning because my blinkers are not working. There is no reason he should have pulled me over. Danton is tell me to just tell the truth. I'm thinking no way, this has been to much fun for some bored cop to stop it. Police Officer walks up. Dialoge: PO: What were you doing on the Travel Agency's Property? ME: I just love their decorations and I wanted a picture of it. Do you know they change it for every holiday?? PO: Do you have a form of identification? ME: I give him my ID. PO: Who is the car registered under? ME: My mother. PO:Who do you have in the car with you? ME: Friends. PO: Do they have identification. ME: Gives them the IDs. PO: Do you have any outstanding warrents? ME: Not that I know of. PO: Goes back to his car and comes back with the IDs and says, Ok if you want to look at the decorations next time just pull up in front and dont pull into the drive way. ME: Thank you, and I drive away. Danton then ads to the list. Almost arrested... Mission Accomplished
Last Stop: COLONIAL DINER
*Mission: Regroup
Turns out they went to the SAME Acme we did not even about 15 minutes later and got a name tag, got to sing on the intercom, and got to hug a grandma. SO JEALOUS. Then outside near there they did a conga line on a cross walk and got a Matt, Bob, and Carlos to sign their arm. Carlos wanted their number sooo bad.. Haha. In the end we both did about the same thing and called it a tie
