Losing The Parking Pass

After waiting in line a half-hour with a dozen students trying to buy parking passes, I gave mine back and officially ended my $48/month payroll deduction. This is a big deal because I will never, ever get this pass back.

• It's the lowest-cost garage on this campus
• It's attached to my building
• It has a waiting list of like 100, and people are moving up it at an average of 2 spaces per year

I wanted to wait until I was absolutely sure that I could continue riding the bus, especially in the cold weather. But, bottom line, if I can stand in the cold waiting for the school bus as a kid, there's no reason for me to be a cold-weather sissy a mere 20 years later.
