i totally know the feeling (i think editing a yearbook makes us all a little extra nostalgic for highschool...) and i can tell you that a year and a half out of high school, the feeling doesn't go away. but it doesn't have to be about leaving things behind and moving on. it's about finding new ways for old friends to fit into your life.
don't let it go... i mean if it meant a lot to you, then you really shouldn't. because... yeah... if suddenly i was told i had to let go of everything that happened in high school, umm (not gonna lie) my response would be a lot of angry yelling. when something means that much to you, you CAN'T just let it go. you have to simply make more room for everything else... or at least that's what i'm trying to do...
i agree. there's a big difference between leaving behind everything from high school and keeping what was so important close to your heart. maybe i'm sentimental but i think it's totally possible to have high school friends as some of your closest friends as well as moving on with your life and having new friends. can't wait to see you at thanksgiving! xoxo
