Just got a call from my mom. My grandma's not been doing well for a few years now, but she was holding in there. Well, she had to go to the hospital a few days ago, and they can't do anything more for her, so tomorrow they are discharging her. Basically, she's coming home to die. My whole family's going there to be with her. They say she could have as long as a couple weeks, though probably more like a few days.
Needless to say, I'm not going to be in Gainesville this weekend. My parents are insistent that I stay here and finish my exams, which end this Friday afternoon, but I'm heading back after that, so Friday around 4 I'm gone. I have a class that I have to be at on next Wednesday, so I'll be back by then. I'll leave again at some point for the funeral (if it hasn't happened yet by then).
