Still no spoken words from the little guy (other than maybe "mama"), but I think he is picking up the sign for "please."

Wish I knew why he's getting that one instead of any number of more useful ones that we've been trying to teach him for far longer. I just introduced "please" for the first time after our trip to Austin two weeks ago.

So today Corwin is finally babbling consonants. We are getting babababababa all over the place, and I'm hearing that 'm' sound in there occasionally, too. Prior to this he has 'talked' lots, but aside from 'g' it was pretty much all vowels. And I've never heard the 'm' when he wasn't crying until today ( Read more... )
