Hyper belated welcomes to my lovelies at Namimori: gouenji, pomeqranate, ceasefire, eclats_de_voix and boyues! ❤ I'm so glad there are so many awesome people in this TCG, and by now we're already getting along swimmingly, and I'm glad for that! (❀◡‿◡。) I go by Bel on TCGs, but my real name is Adorabelle (... no name jokes okay). I recently graduated from junior college and hopefully, am going ( Read more... )

I love the first piece! The details are amazing and i'm pretty sure it looks a lot better in real life too. Keep working hard! And i understand your pain with bicycle wheels, dear lord. I still haven't done my bike picture yet and i'm just putting them off right now. Hahaha.

yup!! that and drawing straight lines ;_; i just can't

yup, yup! ahh, sorry for the confusion! when you said you haven't drawn "it" yet, i thought you meant this specific bicycle assignment! best of luck my dear♥ are you going for fine art courses? i saw your post on portfolios and they look really good!!! *_* i hope you post more of your final works too *_*

No, no, Ryerson requires me to hand in "a free hand drawing of a tubular structure" which i'm drawing a bicycle for... And no, i'm not going into fine art LOL. My skills aren't good enough and it's hard to get a job with a degree in fine arts. I'm doing interior/environmental design.

woah, tubular structure... you're hardworking to have chosen a bicycle! best of luck bb♥
hey hey don't say that bb! personally i don't like fine art courses because i don't especially like dabbling in everything like 3d... though i guess it's good exposure! that's pretty interesting! i know interior design, but what's environmental design about? is it close to architecture?

LOL my teacher just told me to do a bicycle. I can't really think of anything else to draw either so!

Ohh, but it's true though. I'm not very good at sketching and everything. I think designing is more of my thing anyway ;; Environmental design is... I don't really know, but the website says, "The Environmental Design program focuses on the design of expressive and humane interior and architectural space. Projects are developed in an interior architectural, environmental and societal context.".

it's a good choice! if you can pull it off it'll be really impressive * A * especially since "tubular structure" is so vague orz

ohhh, it sounds like a pretty well rounded programme with both interior design and architecture! that's very interesting *_* and pretty flexible when it comes to job choices too! but it sounds tougher than just focusing on interior/archi though, fight-oh krissu!

Hahaha it's hard though!

I have no idea what it actually is, but yes, it definitely has a much wider job choice. What are you going into? o: & i'll try my best!

it totally is >: structured stuff is always harder than organic stuff imo!

hmm probably illustration and/or game design! o7 i'm not that keen on animation but i'm open to it too!

Depends on what kind of structure... I find it hard because i have to draw circles and my circles don't look like circles. Hahah.

Animation is haaaaaaaaaaard, seriously. But illustration/game design sounds fun! :D

mmmf yes indeed.... on what scale do you intend to do your bicycle drawing? i figured maybe a smaller drawing would make circle less painful D:

it totally is. orz i was thinking of taking classes because it might be good to include some animation in my portfolio, but man even the classes are expensive. hehehe it does, doesn't it! *_* the only problem with the illustration industry is so elusive! XD the jobs definitely seem more sparse and probably smaller in scale unless someone decides that you're really talented.

A4, but considering the fact that the only thing there is the bicycle... I have to pay a lot of attention to the circles.

I should have asked you about your plans because then i would have recommended you take a look at Sheridan ;; It's an amazing school & it's really well known for their animation program.

a4 is a good size! hang in there with the circles! the wheels are infernaaaaaaal

ahh, thank you so much for the thought nonetheless bb!! it's okay, animation isn't my priority so it's alright! i gave "sheridan animation" a hit on the internet and realised they have student graduates working at warner bros! that's amazing.

They have a really good illustration program as well o:

And yes! They have a co-op program where you get to go with Disney and some other big companies so yeah. It's a really, really good program.
