- The 2012 holidays were really stressful for me. I had to put both my mothers-in-law (D's mother and stepmom) in their place when they kept pressuring me about plans for Christmas. I was so down and had a lot of anxiety. On top of which, work was ridiculously stressful. I survived and the best part, the part that made it all worth it

Congrats on your 4.0! It's crazy how "easy" it is to get all A's at this age. It'll be hard but worth it when you finish. Just the other day one of my friends made a silly comment about me keeping score during a game of dominoes because I was the one with the degree. I looked around and realized I WAS the only one with the degree and it felt awesome!

I can't believe Alexa already knows what she wants to do, that's great. Where does she want to go to school?

Italy.. how awesome. We have a bunch of friends going to Italy in the Fall too, but I'm pretty sure we won't be able to go with them.

Thanks, girl. I can't wait to graduate. I know it will feel like a huge accomplishment. :)

Alexa has known what she wants to do for a while now. We're doing our best to help foster and support her talent. Her work so far has been so impressive. Her dream school is UCLA or USC. But UT is a top 10 film school, so staying here isn't a bad choice either. I just keep telling her to apply everywhere and not to underestimate her chances of acceptance or scholarships.

Italy is going to rock. Can't wait!! :)
