HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Anyone who knows me knows what a big day today is for me. I love New Years Day!! It's a time to start over, a time to calm down and relax for no particular reason at all, it's a big deal to me I mean HUGE.
When I was about 13 or so I read about a old belief that how you conduct yourself on New Years Day is a good indication of how your year will go. So today, what I watch, what I do, how I act, everything is very detailed and has to be as close to perfect as possible. I figure even if I'm wrong I have one day this year that will go right.
So what are my plans for my perfect day? I'm glad you asked. I am going shopping with a girlfriend, coming home taking my dog to the bark park, picking up Jay and going to have a entire evening alone with him (because someone was so fantastic enough to loan us their apartment). We have yummy food to cook, presents to unwrap, and a little bit to drink. It is going to be wonderful!
