Bruce and I were just watching/listening to the PBS Newshour when Bruce exclaimed, "Why are they interviewing someone who looks so ill?"
I looked up, saw there was only one key light, a bit too high, accentuating the deep set eyes and glaring off the hair, with likely a white card placed too far forward. They had forgotten to white balance and the fool was wearing a white shirt with a light green jacket. And the camera was placed too low. The last took me a bit longer, but the rest I could figure out almost immediately.
WOW!
I will be able to analyze my own mistakes. I will be able to continue to learn. I am so very grateful.
I anticipate practicing lighting family members who may fall asleep or read many chapters. They may not be quite so happy.
