You'll need:
1lb ground beef
3 tbsp butter
1 turnip
1 large onion
1 large potato
1 cup shredded carrots, if you wish
Parsley, pepper, salt, rosemary, and other spices to taste
Pie dough
Brown gravy
Dice the turnip, onion and potato finely--think pieces no bigger than a dime. Add to a skillet with perhaps a cup of water and the butter, cook till soft. Add ground beef and carrots and spices, cook till done. Place in fridge to cool. Roll out pie dough, cut into circles, fill with meat and vegetable filling. Brush with egg wash if desired. Bake in oven at around 350-375 until done. Serve with brown gravy.
