JnS Phonograph and Needles. I'd first gone to him back on a rec from Audio Asylum in 1999 when I took in my old Kenwood turntable that I still use that I had inherited from my parents after my father died. That is, the Pink Floyd album, the original Harmony vinyl pressing at that, decided to spin that this evening, both sides even as I sketched out the layout of my website while it spun.

Then I spun the beginnings of Gaucho by Steely Dan, at least Babylon Sisters and part of Hey Nineteen before calling it quits.

Was going to go do my photo shoot today for a post but realized I SHOULD hit Costco this morning and get my coffee and maybe hit PFI for a fresh bag of penne, but may hold off until payday next weekend so the photo shoot would be put off. I may get to it later today but may hold out until tomorrow when I can do it once the laundry is done.

Today, I decided to resume with my 70's era CD mix series and thus pulled a bunch of vinyl tracks to record onto DVD.

Well, one of the tracks was a very clean sounding Peg by Steely Dan off of the Aja LP. It's the first track too and upon recording it, I noticed some minor miss tracking, a crackling of the vocals a little at the high (loud) peaks.
