A fairly productive weekend
Had plans to do a bit of cleaning, some packing, and perhaps some home searching, got 2 of the three so not too bad, I guess.
Saturday was a day of some packing and cleaning, namely the oven, and it's clean. However, I now need a new oven bulb so I can see what's cooking. Along the way, scrubbed the inside of the oven door, glass included so I can now SEE inside again!
Wanted to get the back of the kitchen cleaned, but never got there, though I DID pack up the contents of the knock down crates into a box, the glass pitchers and the fondue pots, along with the mug collection, so some things had to be washed, and dried before being packed.
Yesterday I restacked the living room area and got the flat screen TV packed up in its retail box and removed excess interconnects to a box that will be sealed once the rest of the stereo gets packed up towards the end.
Cooked a delicious meal last night with lamb chops, did laundry and not too much more.
Played a CD I'd not listened to in a good, long while, Relish by Joan Osborne, a great CD if you ask me.
Anyway, progress made and I hope that with the additional packing etc will bring good house search karma my way. :-)
Next up, make lunch and head to work.
