And now, I can drop Harborstone as of tomorrow. My paycheck dropped into my BECU account this morning, so that's that, and I can finish that up tomorrow, yay!

Just glad it's Friday, and a 3 day weekend, thanks to Veteran's Day. We've not done Veteran's day at work, but this year it's been implemented, so we get Monday off for it, nice, however, that means one less floating holiday to work with, oh well.

See, work gives us 4 floating holidays to use as we wish if not all are used for actual holidays. This way, everyone that works at a site can follow the holidays that that site follows, regardless of whom they work for, and if a site does not use them all, then we get to use them whenever.

So, that means a paid holiday on Monday, nice, and a day free of the work BS.

So life is slowly moving along it seems, and earlier in the week, got signed into Linked In, but have not done anything else as yet with it. I hope to do some perusing over the weekend for ideas on how a profile is set up. Already, a dear friend has found me and wants to get linked. I will do that as I've decided to hold off for the moment because I need to root through my inbox on my main MSN email that I use for such pro stuff and weed out the emails that are no longer valid, I know I did some of that, but think I need to dump a few more.

But first things first, get up and out the door to Tacoma to close out Harborstone. They open at 9, and close at 1, and then go to the nearest BECU branch and get the check all deposited into my bank account, while it's open, just in case. BECU holds the same hours, 9-1 on Saturdays at many branches, but Harborstone only seems to have one, or 2 branches open on Saturdays. It's a terribly inconvenient branch to work with.

Then, if I can find coupons, a sale etc, I hope to be able to go ahead and get fresh rubber for Blackie the Mazder, as what's on the car now are summer tires, and so, so ones at that from Falken, and are wearing down. Speaking of the car, it rolled over to 125K last night on the very, very slow commute home.

This way, it's done if we get snow this year, and from the limited exposure last Dec on my way to Betsy's Christmas morning, it'd be nice to have some tired more suited for the weather around here, and ones just a bit fresher in tread wear too. I'll just go to my favorite tire place, Discount Tire to do that. I've had great luck with them since I bought Yokohomas for the '88 Honda Accord when 3 of the 4 tires were badly damaged due to punctures and what not, and from just general wear, so Mom and I sprung for some decent tires, and they lasted quite a while, though by that point, I only had one original tire left out of that set we purchased still on the car, and one used tire as the store I was at didn't have any Yoko's in my size that day, and I needed a new tire since I had the so, so spare, and a blown good tire when I hit a pothole and blew out the sidewall.

So, fun times ahead tomorrow me thinks!
