They say that the sky can never fall
two times I heard death's call
And both times they ended up on the news
It seems that everyone has to lose
nothing worth watching on tv anymore
just a bit of drama and a corporate roar

Can you hear the tiptoes of society
believe it we are never really free
cause the way that we live is a lie
and it makes the heart scream and cry
so tell me a real story about life
give me a reason to think
the sadest part about the way we are
is that we do it to ourselves
the end of humanity ain't too far
