On Masculine Beauty...
I admire the feminist movement which has grown to embrace a variety of definitions of what constitutes feminine beauty. Unlike the feminists, men, especially gay men, seem to embrace restrictive definitions of masculinity.
When I go to the gym, and I see every other man slurping down bottles of bottles of various weird-coloured protein shakes, and spend hours upon hours at the gym trying to get that perfect 'greek god' physique, I feel a little sad. Gay men, in particular, should reject restictive definitions of masculinity, as imposed by the patriarchy. Ironically, many gay men have chosen to strive towards hyper masculinity, forgetting that patriarchy has first and foremost rejected them!
