Last night we went to the dollar theater and saw "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift." I was expecting it to be a really lame movie with no plot (plus I hate vin diesel), and, well, it was definitely a movie about the cars. But I did find myself enjoying it. i haven't seen it, but when i saw the trailer(i forget what movie i was watching when i saw it...) i noticed that the american kid is the kid from slingblade. he was super good in slingblade, and it kinda made me sad to see that he's in it... i'm not gonna pay 10 for it, but i'll probably see it eventually.

i've never seen slingblade, but i find it kinda hard to imagine that kid could be good in any movie. ^^;;

i always heard rednecks talking about slingblade when it first came out, so i never saw it... when i finally saw it, i loved it. the first time you see it, it's one of the best movies you'll see, and every time after that, it's really funny. at least for me, when i watched it again, my brain must've just switched off the "let this film affect you emotionally" setting and put it in the "laugh at this so it can't make you cry" gear. so yeah. it's brilliant.
