Catch up
It has been a while since I posted last, in that time we have been busy.
My parents returned from their trip in one piece all ready rubbing in their in-n-out expierences. They brought Alex back two beautiful Pirate rocks. Gotta love it when the pops realize he has way to many toys, so they brought him back something i really do think he treasures more. he put them with his Poop rock, really it looks liek poop, which is with his small collection of special things.
That same day I was able to see a friend from san Diego. She was in town with his younger sister, little brother and her boyfriends son. She was taking them all to Fiesta TX. So we were able to meet up and have some lunch. She looks fabulous, so tan and athletic, and her younger sister, OMG so beautiful.
We finally got rain, and I unfortunetley had to drive through it. I was returning from a Cub Scout meeting (this year is going to be SO fun!) and it jsut started POURING! One of the main roads I need to take to get home was like a river, and one of the stop lights going into our subdivision was ripped off the line and laying in the street. I think it hit the truck two cars in front of me.
Once home, I started reading through tons of Cub scout stuff, and playing with the sweet little kitty we are rescueing rightnow. This kitty, *sigh*, was so neglicted, she was just skin and bones and she has an eye infection. the poor thing still has a hard time smelling food. But once we showed her the plate of tuna, she went to town. And now, all most a week later, her coat looks 100% better and her eye seems to slowly be healing. She got the Cat-titude back within three days, and even had to be turned out of the house twice for being a brat. All the dogs think that we have a new playtoy for them, so they have obviously not been introduced to her. Alex, he calls her Tofu.
I have pictures to post, but have work that needs to be done first. I wil try to get them up today.
Tonight, is an Alex-free night. I think a date is in the works. ;o)
